I don't have words for this.....at some point, I'm deleting my Craftsy store. I've already taken down my pattern pages that had links to the store. Research on different venues will commence tomorrow.
I'm feeling at peace with all this, oddly enough. It will be what it will be, and I'll either adapt or stop selling patterns. No clue what yet, but that's ok. God has shown me grace and I'm grateful.
I hope you all had a good Christmas, we had our family celebration on Christmas Eve. All went swimmingly until I took mum home, and fell in her driveway - right on my nose - spent the next 8 hours at the ER. Several hours, a CT scan and a tetanus shot later, I was told I would live. I'm still dealing with the aftereffects of concussion, and bandages everywhere, but feeling surprisingly good. I guess 2018 wanted to go out with a literal bang!!! But you know what? NO broken nose, NO broken glasses, NO broken wrist. I am incredibly blessed!!!!
So my dear friends, I'm going to wish you a very Happy New Year now, may this coming year be a year filled with God's grace and mercy, and drawing closer to Him. He is good all the time, no matter our circumstances, He knew about them from the beginning, nothing surprises Him - so,

Oh how sad about your Craftsy account. You are taking the best attitude though. It really is best just to pick & move forward.

Oh Allie, I am so sorry your year is ending like this. Getting banged up on top of the Craftsy drama. I looked at my account a few days ago, and two of the quilting tutorials that I had are gone. I haven't looked since, but I just don't understand why they had to change everything and take things away. I know you will find a way to keep selling your beautiful patterns. Take care my friend, and may you have a very blessed New Year ahead.
It is a shame that so many selling sites are changing things for the worse.
Ouch, that doesn't sound like fun, I am really careful on ice now, one too many falls myself.

I'm so glad you warned us about crafts. I'm still working on my Garden of Contentment so I was able to purchase the rest of the blocks before it was too late. I hope you can find a new location for your beautiful work.

So sorry to hear about the way Craftsy is treating you and other designers/vendors. This doesn't seem like the way to treat people or run a business. What can they possibly gain from this if there is nothing to sell or all their vendors leave? - Diane from Minnesota
Well, you're like me, always finding something to be grateful in any situation. I wonder what Craftsy has in sight in the future. It would seem that cutting all these designers and/or their patterns can't help their business unless they have something more in mind. I hated the changes Etsy made a couple years ago and I hate these Craftsy changes as well. I hope you will find another outlet for your patterns.

Ouchie!! Goodness you are lucky nothing broke. Are you bruising yet? I bet your mom was frantic. Rest up over the new year. And if you're like me and run around the house in socks, make sure they have those grippy dots on the bottom. No more falling!
It is weird what Craftsy is doing, and the timing is just so terrible. I understand that they want to have editors look at patterns to make sure they work, etc., but you would think they would just put an editor's seal for the ones that have been tested and leave the other ones alone for people to take the risk.

I'm sorry you are having such a trying time right now . I hope you will heal up quickly from your fall and not have any lingering health issues from it... This whole Craftsy things has me upset for all of you designers that are affected so negatively by it. It is very unfair and mean to do this to you all. It makes me not want to do business with them in the future that is for sure. Hugs sweet lady. Lets hope 2019 is gonna be a wonderful year full of pleasant surprises and happiness for us all.

Poor Allie! I'm so glad there was nothing seriously damaged, either by the fall or by Craftsy. The Lord will show you what to do, and you will gain more than you lose. Anywhere you go, I'll follow along behind and buy patterns. =)

Oh Allie, get well soon! Take it very easy as you recover from your concussion. You made the right choice about Craftsy. I suspect no one will be going to it (the new site) soon. Right now you just work on you. Hugs dear friend!
Oh my Allie I am sew sorry about your shop. That really stinks. I am sew happy you have a great attitude about it. I know a few people that sell on Bit Cartel. It may be free? Not sure, but worth checking out my dear.

Sorry to hear that you hurt yourself! Blessed though that there were no serious injuries!
I’m also sorry to hear you had a run in with Craftsy. I’m not sure I understand what happened but it sounds like they just made decisions without consulting anyone. Too bad, and too bad for them to miss out in Your creations.
