I only got 3 hours of sleep last night - my lovely neighbor decided to regale the neighborhood with a concert at 8am this morning, while he cleaned off his car. [And again at 9:30, and 11:15.] So I got up, made a pot of coffee, got dressed and headed off to Walmart.
And speaking of having fun, look what a reader has made - my Spring pattern!
I LOVE the red flowers, and am now wishing I'd made mine a different color, so they'd stand out more! Brilliant! I love the elegant look to this!
Not much else is new, I'm just waiting for bedtime now - it's almost 7pm and I know I could sleep, but don't really want to be up at 3am. I'm going to play at my friend Cathy's sewing studio tomorrow...I don't think she'd appreciate me coming at 4am, even with coffee.
As I close this post, I'd like to ask for prayer for mum. Her foot [the one she almost lost] is giving her a great deal of pain and making her an angry little elf. We're not sure what's wrong with it, but she's been breaking down crying with it. It's probably diabetic nerve pain, which is no joke. We'd sure appreciate your prayers!
Enjoy what's left of the weekend - see ya soon!
Love,
Allie

That IS a big box of crayons. The little peek at your new pattern is promising! You are so talented. Love Debbie's block! Very pretty. Hope you get a good night's sleep tonight. Hugs for your mom! XO
I like your crayons and the caddy, and hope your mum's foot heals quickly. Now get some sleep, dear.
So sorry that your mom's foot is acting up again. My husband has neuropathy in his feet so I do understand your concern. After trying several medications and ointments, the only thing we found to relieve the pain was horse liniment, (Absorbine Veterinary Liniment). We buy his at a feed store. Hope that helps her.
Love, love, love your big box of crayons !! Your patterns are very cute.
Must be the changing season, I am getting less sleep lately, need to readjust my sleep schedule;)
Sorry your mom is in so much pain, prayers that they can find the problem and help her to feel better.
Debbie

Sending prayers for your mum. I know how painful this is, it is an awful disease. Hugs to you and your family!
Am hoping your mom feels better real soon. I will be following those crayons very close so post lots of pictures please!
You are just so creative...love all your designs, but then you know that...grin. I've never seen a crayola container like that. So cool.
We'll definitely pray for your Mom! Mick takes some pills for that kind of pain, but I'm not sure how much it helps.
Gentle hugs for you and your Mom.
Oh I love those red flowers too!! That would make a cute pillow cover.
Prayers for your mum. So difficult to see one's mother cry and not be able to help.
I really like the way they face the cold: with color crayons :)
I regret the suffering of his mother. God Bless you and Bless your mother.
Sorry to hear about your mum. Sending her a big hug.
Prayers for your mom, of course! I hope that is of short duration. That's a nice version of your pattern, but I still like your coloring on it. I'm glad your snow didn't stick, and even happier I didn't get any! I hope you are warming up like we are this week.
So sorry to hear that your Mum is suffering so, sending her hugs and of course I will try to keep praying for her. x
Love your new header, such pretty patterns. Praying for your mom.
Oh dear - this post is from a couple of days ago - how's she doing - is she getting any relief ... and is she able to do something for the pain, or is a doctor's visit in the works?
You and your Mum are definitely in my prayers. Pain stinks big time.
You sleep sounds like mine....middle life has messed up my sleep for sure.
Hugs,
Kelly
Opening a new box of crayons is a delightful thing. Brings out the child in us.
Many angel hugs to your dear mum. Love the pic you are colouring. Good luck with sleep. I only get a couple of hours most nights and it makes one very grumpy gal. My memory is bad too.
You are so creative Allie, and on only 3 hours of sleep! Perhaps you can nap. I'm not a great sleeper either, and I can't nap. Only wish I could.
Oh your poor mum, I hope the pain clears up soon. Sending lots of get well wishes! Your box of crayons is a box of many future beautiful creations!!
Hi Allie, prayers for your Mum and I hope that you were able to get a good night's sleep.
Hi Allie sending prayers to your love, not much fun being in so much pain, hope she feels better soon, sending lots of love her way too xx
Hi Allie. I'm so far behind in reading, I must apologize (computer problems). You've accomplished so much since I last checked in. Sure hope your mum's foot is better. I'm adding her to my prayer list just in case. Love your new crayon caddie. Sure beats my 64 count box with the sharpener on the side (yeah, I hold onto things far too long, 1979 I think). Hoping the winter weather will soon lose its grip on you. We've had such lovely weather this week, but tonight its going to snow again....getting much colder. I'm ready for this yoyo weather to end, thank you. Stay warm and well, Dear.
