Did You Know....

that your heart doesn't really stop when you have a big black spider dangling from your hair?  It just does a couple of somersaults then goes BAM BAM BAM BAM until you kill said spider.

If you need me in the next few days, I'll be sitting here with my frozen veggies - [no ice in the house] -

I swear my feet are magnets for every heavy object in this house!

Rest assured - MY heart would stop if there were a big black spider hanging from it. And anyone within screaming range might have issues as well. Frozen peas work the best, but ya gotta use whatever you have. Feel better soon!

Oh my gosh Allie, Spiders I can deal with, as long as they don't surprise me and they aren't Black Widows, them I truly despise. But, hurt ankles and feet, well, that's a little tougher. I'm so, so sorry you are hurting. Are you sure nothing is broken? I too wish I lived close enough to come over and be of some help you. As for the veggies...I read an article in a medical journal while waiting in the doctors office a few months ago that said bags of frozen veggies work better than ice because they mold to the shape of our body parts better than bags of ice or even ice packs. It went on to say bags of peas work the best, but hey...the broccoli, cauliflower and carrots add a nice touch of color to the picture. *wink* I do hope your not in too much pain. You will be in my thoughts and prayers sweet friend. Gentle Hugs...

Heavens what did you do to your foot??!!

I'm OK with spiders if I find them before they find me - I usually put them on a piece of paper or paper towel and put 'em outside. I always wonder if they're spoiled princess housespiders that will perish from not having the spider butler and staff take care of their every whim outside, but I digress ... if the spider finds ME, then it's a bad thing, and a certain amount of screeching will ensue :D

Darn spiders. I sure wouldnt like one dangling from my hair - he would have a short life. He would either die of fright from my screams, or from the whack on his head.
Take care of your foot. Its handy having frozen vegetables, they do the job.
Hugs xx

If you don't have ice, I think frozen veggies work fine. I usually use peas, but this looks like it's working just fine. So was it the spider's fault? BTW, my ice maker won't quit, so I always have lots of ice if you need some! =)

Funnily enough..yes I actually did know that, lol....don't ask me how, but it was when the shop lady had a horrified look and told me not to move....

Poor you!! Hope it's better very soon. xx

Ouch! You poor thing. Hope you are up and on the mend. Coming from the land of deadly spiders I am happy to leave them if they stay out of my way but I don't know if one in my hair would illicit a calm response from me either.

What happened? Hope you find some comfort with frozen veggies.

Black spider, huh? Well at least you didn't run around screaming...

Stomp, stomp, stomp that spider!! Did the spider cause the injury? When we first moved to the country, we would swing a broom in the air to walk down the sidewalk. So many spiders hanging from the trees.

Feel better soon.
