I haven't been blogging much, I've been very busy stitching away - stitched myself right into a migraine today, lol. Have to remember to take breaks! Here's what I've been working on...I made a pillowcase for my brother,
And I'm working on some redwork stitcheries.
These stitcheries are from this book,
which I bought several years ago and forgot I had. I found it the other day and as soon as I opened it, remembered why I'd had to have it! Aren't they darling? Maybe I should look at my books more often, lol. I hope your stitching is going along fine too!

Love redwork, and yours is delightful! So cheerful to wake up to this morning. Thanks, Allie! At least your headache is making other people happy (hope you're pain-free soon...)
I do not need a new book. I do not need a new book. I do not - - why did you do this to me?? Your stitcheries are adorable, and I mich just need a new book!
The Santa redwork stitchery caught my eye. I like his style.
LOL @ Sunny's post, and happy birthday Midge!
I'm glad you got your brother's pillowcase done, and I love your redwork projects - I can't embroider a stitch (never could) but at least I can "fake it" now with the embroidery machine, lol.
I love your redwork. You've been busy. Hugs

I love the redwork, it has such a scandinavian look to it. I guess that's why I like it so much.
Hey Allie! I really like the fabric you decided on for your brother's pillowcase...great choice. And those stitcheries... OMGosh, they are GORGEOUS! I thought at first that you had designed them! :o) They are just so, so darling! Have fun, but remember to take those breaks!
XOXO,
Cyndi

Your stitcheries are wonderful. I just started embroidering again, and had forgotten why I love it. Thank you for sharing.
Looks like a great book, great stitcheries to do.

Not good about the migraine, Allie-girl, hope it's all gone now.
{{{hugs}}}
Funny thing - I saw a gorgeous stitchery online the other day and wondered where it came from. Then I noticed the book the lady had used, and it's on my shelf! LOL!!
Maybe we need an afternoon of hot chocolates, Christmas cake, and all our books?! :-)
Love the reindeer redwork...and that teeny weeny bear.
Hugs
Jen

Hugz and another hugz...
Lovely stitching Allie!
Lovely redwork. I have always wanted to do some redwork, but have never gotten around to it. Hopefully, I will get around to it soon.
I just love the Scandinavian/Northern European looking St. Nicholas - just beautiful. By the way, in Holland this morning children are waking up to see what Sinterklaas left in their shoe last night. Em received a traditional little bag of gold chocolate coins and a few other goodies :)
Oops - today is only the 5th...I got ahead of myself. The children in Holland will put their shoes out tonight. Em got her goodies a day early...it's not often I get accused of doing anything early - LOL.
Cute bear - and I so heart your redwork! So pretty!
BEAUTIFUL stitching!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
What a fun book. Love your stitcheries.
Thanks dear Allie :-)
The book looks as if it has more to show between the pages there :-) X X X

I juts love redwork, and it is so great for this time of year huh.
Great stitching Allie. So sorry about your migraine..hope you are doing better.
Your stitcheries are darling! I have the green book and the blue book just because the designs are so wonderful! I wonder where I've put them? LOL
p.s. yes, take frequent breaks! Be kind to yourself!
Nice stitchery, Allie!!
OH, that little deer is so sweet.
Take care, migraines are no fun.
Ok.....I've hunted, googled and searched. Where are we going to find this book?
From someone who lived with migraines for 25 years....a really gentle hug.
I like the deer especially! I hope all is well, sweet Allie! All is good in Hillbilly country. :)
Sorry about the migraine. I hate those! Your stitcheries look great! Nice work!
Lovely stitcheries, I love that little reindeer! Sorry to hear about your migraines, they really are the pits. How did the pillowcase go? Is this the same one or a second one?
The redwork is adorable. I think that if I looked at my old books, I would feel so guilty because they are all worthy of buying, but I haven't made many of the patterns.
