Slow And Unsteady

It has been the slowest week I've had in a long time.  Last Saturday, my youngest, Sam, came down with some kind of stomach bug - then it hit me on Monday.  Two days of stomach stuff, then nothing but headaches and extreme vertigo.  Which is still happening, for some reason, it sure doesn't want to let go!

All I've accomplished this week is finishing off the last few bricks in a window block of my longest running UFO -

and framing my Gardener's Heart stitchery.

I was going to make a nice pieced border but it got away from me, and I ended up ripping it out.

Mostly I've just been here -

My poor mother.  I really need to take her grocery shopping.  But I do not want her to get this - we can't risk her falling!

During the rare periods I feel well enough to sit in a chair without arms, I'm working on the tutorial for Monday.  Otherwise, I'm just reading and guzzling tea.  I feel well enough, just can't walk without listing to one side.  Sam and I are reeling around like a couple of drunken sailors who've lost their land legs.  It's an interesting sensation that I'm ready to see the last of.

Be well my friends, see you Monday....
Love,
Allie

Yuck :( I wonder if you've developed ear infections? That can really mess up your balance. Feel better & be safe.

Oh my, Allie, I feel your pain - I've been knocked flat a few times with illnesses that lasted for weeks - they're horrible to get through :( I hope you feel better soon - take it easy until you're able to walk without listing!

Oh my sweet friend. That virus has such a bad effect. I found that when I was dizzy it was because I was dehydrated. Try drinking more water. It really did help my dizziness.

The projects look great but see a doctor about the vertigo. Are you taking anything for it? I worry it might be an ear infection. Get rest my friend!

Oh you poor girl. I had vertigo once and I thought I would die, couldn't eat, read, write, stitch- I still remember how thankful I felt when the sensation started to subside. Hang in there; apparently one of the flu bugs presents with this as a symptom. Take care of yourself.

So sorry you're not feeling well. Is it vertigo? I've had that and it is terrible. Call your doctor and get some antivert. Are you dehydrated? Sometimes that will cause it. Get well soon! Love your stitcheries.
