Her other end isn't bad either.

She is beautiful. I have 4 featherweights myself. One is for parts. I love mine and I know you will love yours. Hugs

As long as she can sew and make your heart sing, it's all good!

look at her and all her bits and pieces, have you stitched her up and down a seamy yet? I can see Maria will be a happy travel companion, and make your times away from home a lot happier. When I'm away, I have my laptop and camera, as the Bernina is way too heavy to take, Enjoy, you so deserve a wonderful gift. Hugs, Jean.

oops, spelling error, seam, not seamy. maybe you might think I meant "steamy", too late to correct it as it flitted off to be sent. Cheers, Jean

She looks great! I would suggest that you buy a 1/4" foot with guide. The foot that came with mine was 1/8". Having the guide is so helpful especially when sewing with these much smaller machines. You can also look up the day she was born by going to the Singer sewing machine website. Put in the serial number found on your lady and there should be a listing of numbers and the they were produced.

What a beauty! And what a wonderful friend you have! I think this was just the pick-me-up you need after this summer. Have fun taking her on a test drive!

You make me laugh. I love your new beauty and you are going to love sewing on her. They are awesome. How sweet she can we all the extras. A lot of times you find them and it is just the machine and foot petal.
Hope you are having a great week.
Hugs

I love the faceplate. That's the pretty one. =) During the war, the machines had the sort of corrugated lines one, if I remember my history correctly. So nice to have all those pretty feet! I hope she has a book. If not, there's a good one out there, or you can probably find one to download as a .pdf for free. On ISMACS.net maybe?

What a beauty and how nice for you! I hope to see lots of sewing from you now!

Sorry to hear of your husband loss. Give him a comforting hug from your blog fans.
