Hmph

The darn sewing fairy hasn't shown up in my sewing room for quite awhile.  I'm not getting very far on my hst's without her.

They're still sitting next to the sewing machine, waiting patiently.

I've got two stitchery projects going, the hst's, and what am I doing?  Why, starting something new, of course....

This is a freebie from Kaaren at The Painted Quilt, can't remember exactly when she offered it but it's still there and I'm finally doing it.  The cutest Raggedy Ann quilt ever.  I can no longer resist.  Plus, I really need to print out Jenny's Promises and Borders, I have the fabric all picked for that too.

We need more hours in our days, don't we?  I know I'm not alone in this!

Kitty is making me sleepy....she finds the tiniest boxes....

By the way, I've started watermarking all of my photos.  Jocelyn did an excellent post on "scraping", and how your blog content can be stolen very easily.  I'm not a huge blog either, but don't like the thought of someone else using my content.  Go read her post and check out the links on how you can stop this too!

Scraping is not pinning, by the way...I don't mind pinterest at all, because it links back here.  I adore pinterest and spend far too much time there myself.  This IS a pin friendly blog!

The sewing fairy hasn't been to my house in 3 days. Maybe she's taking a nap with your kitty...giggle.

oops, the sewing fairy was making hst's at MY house yesterday. She felt sorry for myunused sewing machine, and wanted to give me a little kick in the keister. It worked! I'm headed back down to the machine now. I'll send her over to you next.

If your sewing fairy shows up, ask her if she's seen mine, because she's gone missing too! LOL

HAHA speaking of sewing fairies - last night I had *one* must job to do in my sewing room. I needed to go through my handmade Christmas gift bags and find one or two large enough for a parcel I needed to wrap -- if I didn't have what I needed, I would have a bit of time this morning to make one. What did I do when I went into the sewing room? I didn't look for a gift bag - I decided to sew 2 bibs that I don't need until October ... then I decided to cut out and sew a zipper bag that has no actual specific recipient - it'll go to the counselling centre. When did I look for gift bags? Half an hour before heading out with the gift - fortunately I *did* have a bag big enough, but I certainly left it to the last minute, lol!

If you find the sewing fairy, would you please send her my way? I seem to have lost her, too.

I've been thinking I should watermark my photos, but I've been too dang lazy to learn how. So, I better go off and read and find out if I need to get off my duff.

No sewing fairy here either. I did get into the sewing corner and do some cleaning though. I also dragged out the Go cutter and cleared out some scraps. I found my sewing machine and cutting table...woohoo!!

I have to go over and check out the Raggedy patterns now :)

I love Kaaren's Raggedy Ann designs. Your kitty is so cute. I have watermarked some of my photos, but sometimes forget, and other times think, who could possibly want this photo. I suppose I should be more diligent.

Oh, yes, I am always starting something new.

I, too, made myself a watermark with one of the nice tutorials generously shared on someone's blog. But, I've been too lazy to use it, LOL!

Love your little stack waiting for you. Looks like lovely colours.

What a great time in NYC! Glad it was so nice for you. And love the new 'do'. A new haircut is such an easy way to freshen things up a bit.

Hope you get more time to sew!

A sewing Fairy! That's too cute! But so is your kitty all curled up in the box. I love that cats do crazy stuff like that. Well, since the fairy didn't show up - you'll have to enjoy sewing up all that fabric by yourself. If I were there, I would help you.

No wonder you're starting something new! How could anyone resist Raggedy Ann? What is cuter?
