The heat wave has broken - it was over 100 again today, then a cold front moved through and I can breathe outside without searing my lungs. Regular blogging should resume shortly, as soon as I remember how to use my computer for something other than solitaire. There are over 1,000 unread blog posts in my Reader and I despair of ever catching up....I might need to fortify myself with ice cream. See you soon!

Hot and humid here too but not 100 yet. Cooler(?)- well, by a few degrees today. Glad you're back. Ice cream sounds good.
I will take the 86 of tomorrow over the 102 of today! At the pizza place in front of the ovens was easily 120 and the kids and hubby wonder why I am so grouchy this weekend!?!
Here is hoping for things to be more normal in Michigan! Feels nice outside tonight. Hoping to get into the sewing room this week. Our house is 100 years old and the central air is only central on the main floor, the upstairs (where my sewing room is) is sweltering!

I'm so glad the heat has let up for you Allie. My thoughts and prayers are with all the people who are suffering in the insane heat, especially the one who haven't had electricity. It's awful here, but we expect the heat and humidity down here and are prepared to stay in the air conditioning. Enjoy taking sime nice deep breaths ;)

Nioe the hot spell breaks now and you have cooler weather. This heat has been too much! Of course here in Texas this is normal weather for us! Love the picture of that little guy!
Praise the Lord for cool weather - it's going to be in the 80's the next couple of days here in the oven. WOOHOOOOO! Ice cream would be a good thing to take along on all that reading ;)
