This quilt was an entry in Kelly's Bling Challenge. I had never used bling on a quilt before, and I quite loved it! I used a crystal applicator to attach the crystals, and it's very addictive. Great fun.

The shapes of the flowers were leftovers from my big Sis Boom quilt.

The shapes looked like flowers to me, so I ran with it. Jennifer's fabrics are just wonderful and I didn't want to waste any pieces! The large flowers and leaves have hand-embroidered detail, although it's hard to see.

I wanted the quilt to be asymmetrical, but I think I might have made it a little too wonky. Still, I like it, and have even started a new one.

I hope you're enjoying the Festival, I know I am - a huge thanks to Amy for her great efforts in putting this on!!

I think it looks great, especially on the black background.
Looks Fabulous!
I don't mind seeing your quilt again. It looked fabulous the first time around, and it looks just as fabulous now :-)
These are so wonderful!!!
I'm glad you decided to enter this quilt. I remember when you first showed it. I liked it then and like it now.
Lovely - very creative!
It is very pretty! I have not used any crystals in my sewing yet. I do know they have some up at our local general store because the employee that buys for them was smitten with them so ordered the crystals and applicator in. I should buy some so I have them when I want to try it.
I adore these Allie... they are so interesting and full on dimension and texture.... have always loved them.... so glad you showed them again

I could see it over and over. It is gorgeous!!!
Ooooohhhh, I LOVE the crystals!!! Just the right amount of bling
This was a perfect quilt for the BQF -- I wish I had your artistic talent and could design quilt patterns. I would not know how to begin making an embellished quilt, but you never hesitate -- just jump right in and create the most remarkable quilts. You're the best, Allie!
What a lovely entry!! Well done!!

This is great. I love what the bling does to it too.
It's fantastic! Love the prints you used.
Wow, that is fabulous. The crystals just make it sparkle. I love the bright color on the back. Super.
amazing!
Love your abstract still life. Nice use of fabrics and the additional bling. I've never used bling in a quilt but there's always a first for everything.
I love your bling quilt---especially the crystals on the vase---what a great idea!
Hi! I'm not a quilter, but I am making my way through the Festival because this is the greatest creative inspiration I have found in a long time!
But I love that one! I'm willing to see it over and over again. Good luck in the contest. Hope you are one we can vote for.
