Oh The Horror

I popped into my dashboard today, and had such a scare...blogger has changed!

I'm too old for this.  I may rearrange my furniture every week, but I like my computer to look the same.  This post has no meaning except to see if I still know how to post, and if everything will work.  So far so good.  The palpitations are slowing.

I just had the same scare -- and it keeps telling me I need to upgratde to a different browser? I hate having change forced on me.

I agree. I just had the other one figured out.

I agree! I love change in other ways, but I'm still learning this technology and I want some of it to stay the same!

I'm still using the old interface because the last "new look" stressed me out too much.

I changed to the new format a while back - there's something that can't be done easily with the new format but I can't remember what it is, lol. I'm sure I'll remember what it was when I go to do it and can't!

Hermione looks like she's saying ... "Frankly my dear, I don't give a ... you know" :D - Zoomer sends felicitations - or rather - he would, if he weren't sound asleep AND SNORING on my feet at the end of the couch, lol.

It's changed again?! Or is this the same change that has been trying to take place for quite some time now? Mine looks the same.

I had to go take a look to see what you were talking about. I did an upgrade a couple weeks ago and nearly died when I did. Didn't know where anything was, but finally got used to it. You'll like it once you get used to it. I just don't understand why they did it. Worked fine the other way.

I am convinced it's a conspiracy to drive me crazy. I just pat myself on the back for getting a handle on it all and then it changes...arrghh! So glad you are still here.

I saw it this morning, and just walked away. Too much to deal with before work. I guess I'll be going there in a few minutes, to see if I can find my way around. YUK.

Me too!!! I freaked out, TOTALLY!!! I it's not broken, why did they "fix" it? I did a post today and it was sucky to figure out what to do. *sigh* Maybe they don't realize how many of us older folks use Blogger, LOL

Oh yikes! I am not liking this either! Will figure it out tomorrow.

Your cat is gorgeous. I just realised he is you profile photo. I have no idea what everyone is talking about with blogger changes. I use firefox on my Mac and I haven't noticed anything different for months.

I'm very happy with any excuse for a great kitty picture. I have read on so many posts about the changes to blogger so I am getting a bit worried as to why mine still looks the same as always? It might surprise me tomorrow. Tracee xx

I see my blogger has changed too, but I haven't tried to post with the new version. Hopefully I'll do that later today and all will go well. :0)

I just switched back to the old version. I'll keep doing that and sending feedback that I don't like the new one. Someday, they won't let me switch. Thanks for the heads up.

Oh Allie, I must admit this is all too much for me! Dashboard? The only dashboard I know about is the one in my car!! Anyway, just popped in to say hi! Your mum looks lovely Allie!

Glad I'm not the only one!
I have only just got used to the old version, now I have to relearn where everything is.
It was like when hubby bought me this laptop with windows 7 on....I was used to XP and I still haven't got used to how this one works :(

*hugs* Heather x

I'm with you on the same scare....I even oodled around to see if I could get my screen to return to the old look , but now I'm making myself see the "+" in this change :)

Val said...

I hate change too!!! I guess we will learn but it is so aggravating. I don't understand why you have to change something that works!!!

Sue said...

All these changes are designed to keep us young...or drive out the old 'puter users and let the young ones have it all. By the time I keep up with blogger and facebook I'm exhausted.

Phew...makes me kinda glad I switched to wordpress ;-)

Lauranie said...

me too girl...but I haven't posted in so long, it would have ALL been new to me!! teehee!!

Michelle May said...

Every time I get it all learned and straight, they go and change it. Not just blogger, but everything! Makes my head hurt!
Ok...kisses to a fuzzy kitty face. I want to reach through the computer and kiss, kiss, kiss that face!

Mama Pea said...

Haha! You crack me up!

I know, right? Heart attack here as well. I think I have it almost figured out? Maybe? At least I found my dashboard again, and my reading list (you, for instance) so it's a step in the right direction. Don't change anything, ever -- it's a very old rule.

Talin's Corner said...

I sympathize with you. I hate it when they make changes without warning. It seems that you have adjusted. You go!

KaHolly said...

I don't like the new blogger format at all. I worked all morning on a post yesterday and when I returned to finish it up, it was gone. And the new dashboard? Thumbs down. I'm going to send them negative feedback every single day.
