The Forecast Was Rain

Hm.  What a shock when I opened the curtains this morning.  I had seen John off to work, it was dark and dry...a couple of hours later and this is what greeted me.  I don't know why the image is so bright...almost looks like a negative, doesn't it?  I think I should read my camera book.  This is more what it really looked like...

We haven't had a lot of snow this year, hardly any, matter of fact.  So it was quite the novelty.

Since my son had my car today and I didn't want to go out anyway, I decided to get the green quilt basted.

All done, now to decide on the quilting!

It's already past my bedtime, so instead of opening my Google Reader, I'm going to bed and I'll browse blogs in the morning.  I'm afraid to look at it, it's so full it might explode.  The rain has finally moved in, good sleeping weather....don't you just love sleeping with rain falling on the roof?  Makes you feel even cozier.  Hope you have a good night/day depending on where you are on the planet!

A little something cute for you.

I think the lighter video came out good, it should look like that, everything is clear. I need to go to bed too, but still too much to do.

I love watching the snow fall...it's so peaceful and pretty...until the snow plow comes along and ruins the beauty by scraping dirt and muck all over the pristine whiteness! :o(

I LOVE that little shot with the toad...too funny. I laughed out loud!

Talk to ya tomorrow!

XOXO,

Cyndi

Wow how fun!! We saw snow falling at the place we were staying in W. VA. It's so pretty when it is falling. Loved the video.

Wow....that is such a foreign scene to me...and so lovely.

Laughed at all those posters...especially the last one. Poor kitty.

Love you!

Wow, that was some snowfall! We're having rain like that today. It's my bedtime and I love falling asleep to the rain on the roof. Very soothing.

Love your funnies! My fave is the toad in the airplane - too funny!

Your pins are like soldiers all in a row.

Love the photos, even the ones with snow (send some my way - it's so hot here). My favourite is the cats all looking out the window. Good for a giggle.

Oh Allie, the snow is so beautiful. Sounds crazy but I really wished it snowed around here. Experiencing cold weather, but no snow. The weather guys got it wrong again... said that it would snow over the weekend but nought! Still, I have played your wee video over and over and it felt like I was there! Just love the green quilt. Wow, the stitchery is so gorgeous.

Your snow is beautiful! We had snow too before the rain, but not that much. Love your little funnies at the end! :0)

Thanks for the chuckle. We got small tiny flakes and wet snow/rain but nothing left it's mark. We have all been really lucky this winter compared to Alaska and parts of Europe.

You got a good picture of the snow. That's hard to do. I love your funnies at the bottom.

Do you leave the pins open or closed while machine quilting?

We had that snow here, too. But it didn't even last all yesterday. :-) Looks like you're almost done with that green quilt!

Brrrr! I love to sleep to a calm rain but we usually have lots of wind with our rain. Makes for a nervous night when you can hear everything rattling and blowing around.

I love the way you take pictures of your basted quilts. Such a fun angle.

We finally got a first snow last weekend. I was glad to see it. Now it is 73* but more cold is coming again.
