November Christmas Through The Year

It's time to kick off our November gift making.  Do you know who you'll be making for this month?  I don't, yet.  How about hostess gifts for any holiday parties you'll be going to?  That's what I'm going to do with my mug rugs.

I have a couple of tutorials for you to start.  I haven't had much time to look, but here are two.  First, Wendy from The Crafter's Apprentice has a knitting needle roll tutorial that would be great for any knitter's you know!

And from Love Laugh Quilt, a lovely hexagon table topper.

I'm going to be taking a bloggy break.  Probably a couple of weeks.  I'll come back in about a week with the mug rug pattern for you, but other than that, I'm not going to be around for a bit.

Sue from Cypress, I got your lovely comments on my blog but don't have a way to reach you.  If you could email me, that would be great.  Look on my profile and click "email me".

See you all in a bit!

Hi Allie...first off you will definitely be missed!! I am focusing on hostess gifts too. Don't have any ideas but that's what I'm thinking about. I have a cute kit for a snowman roll warmer, that might be my project. Both great tutorials that you listed. Can't wait for your return.

Allie, enjoy your time off -- you certainly deserve it! I made lots of holiday tea towels last season as hostess gifts, and they were so well-received, I'll probably do something similar this year, too! :)

Allie, I hope everything is okay and that you're just taking some time off to sew and relax. I can't believe a year has gone buy. I remember when you started Christmas Through the Year. It has been fun and now I'm so sorry that I haven't kept up with my monthly projects. I'll really be working double time this month. Your links are much appreciated as they are full of wonderful ideas. Take care.

Hey Allie, are you OK? I hope there's nothing wrong and that you just need a break to refresh and regroup. I'll miss you though, but don't worry, we'll be here when you come back!

Allie, you have outdone yourself. We got home this afternoon and gathered our mail and could not believe how beautiful your work is. I am honored to have this. Thank you so much. Next time I post the picture will be on my blog. I am also taking a break because of my hands. Hope you are ok. You will be missed. Thank you again.

Hi Allie, Just checking in to see what you've been up to. I've been MIA for a few months and I'm back and reading blogs again, I've missed you. Have a nice break and I hope to see you again soon. By the way the Holiday Hexagon tutorial is adorable. It looks fairly easy and I may have to try it.
