October Strut Your Stuff!

I simply MUST apologize for so many posts today and yesterday...and now one more...but I completely forgot to do our linky party for October!  Well, this is the post you'll link to.  You won't see my finished gift until Monday, when I do the give-away.  It won't be finished until then, but I will make the deadline!

So how did you do?  Did Halloween distract you?  We no longer celebrate it, our neighborhood has no small children and neither do I.  The only thing we celebrate  is the half-price candy the day after.  We stock UP.  There's a reason our dental cleanings are usually scheduled for early November.

All righty then, do your post and link up, I'll do the give-away very late on Monday night, in order to give you as much time as possible - and again, I apologize for letting it go this late!

Around here my kids are getting older too and don't trick or treat any more so Halloween has become a bit boring. This year I decided to have a Pumpkin Carving party (they all still like to do that :). I invited some close friends and family. We will have Hot Chili, warm apple crisp and lots of pumpkin seeds to toast! Yay!

Well we're rather isolated and there's not a chance we'll see trick or treaters, but as grandchildren make their way into our lives, I imagine we'll start celebrating more and more! I am going to carve a pumpkin this afternoon! :)

Hey Girl! As we only have 12 houses on our street and no small children, we don't get any trick-or-treaters. But we have a tradition....my FIL lives in a large subdivision that has 100s of little kids...we always spend Halloween at his house, having pizza and handing out candy to the kids. Then we watch scary movies afterwards and TRY not to eat any leftover candy. I'm looking forward to tomorrow night! :o)

XOXO,

Cyndi

How fun! I'm missing out on it, but I'm having a little fun of my own. You and Aunt Spicy convinced me that I could do the baby bedding so I have been working on that...and about 10 other things for the house and baby. Christmas is right around the corner and I know ya'll are so pleased to have a stockpile of gifts!
