*Cue Chirping Crickets*

Hi everyone, that's right, I'm about to go a bit silent....

I have an owie.  NOT a clue why, or when, or what, but kissing it hasn't made it better.  Typing is difficult, so I'll be quiet for a bit til it heals.  Thank goodness I can still sew, and I've already got the borders cut for Kaaren's quilts.

In keeping with Tickled Pink Tuesday, I finally got pics of the gift Mickie won in our last Christmas Through The Year give-away.  Mickie, I'm sorry it has taken me so long, it's being mailed in about an hour.

The darlingest little cupcake pouch, made by someone who wishes to remain anonymous, and a surprise inside.  Cuz, you know, the best things have a surprise inside, right?  So what does that have to do with Tickled Pink Tuesday?  I'm finally getting my sorry behind to the post office, and I don't have a manual transmission.  Can't imagine trying to shift gears with my fancy glove on.

So I'll be reading your blogs and keeping an eye on you, better behave.  You'll hear about it when I've healed.

I think I know who made the little pouch...

Hope you feel better soon. Be good to your wrist/hand. Glad it doesn't hurt to quilt, but don't push it too much.

Oh No! Hopefully plenty of rest and some anit-inflammatories will help. Take care.

maybe it's from slamming your iron down everytime it turns itself off. I hope it gets to feeling better soon, we'll miss seeing you :(

I hope you heal quickly. I wear gloves whenever my hand starts to bother me. We do so much work with our hands, we are bound to get injuries and strains, so good to give them a rest once in a while and the gloves help.

I am sending you healing thoughts. I wear the same type of brace and it is very helpful. Take care and don't overdo.

Sorry about your hand/wrist/thumb, kiddo - those braces help a LOT (I wear mine at night, and sometimes during the day too when my wrists are achy). Feel better soon !

Now back AWAY from the keyboard!! ;)

You poor thing!!! I can sympathise too, I usually end up wearing a wrist brace in Winter when my poor old joints play up - and it really does help!! You need to rest your poor thumb and you'll be all better before you know it!! Sending you great big hugs ...
Joy :o) xx

Dear Allie...I'm so sorry you are in pain! If it's carpal tunnel or just plain inflammation, sometimes a cold pack will help. Hope you are feeling better soon!

Allie, get well very soon! I'll be praying for you.

Just took the hubby last night to emergency. Broken toe, stitches, and possible surgery on his foot!

Enjoy your week!

Big hugs and blessings to you,

Oh, you take care. I understand completely. I am having to use the mouse with my left arm because my elbow is getting a little inflamed again. My hands seem to be acting up too. So it is taking me longer to reply to comments.
hugs, carrie p.

Sorry about your hand. :-( Hope you are feeling better now. That cupcake bag is super cute!

Yes, I'm very behind in the blog department, but how's your hand? If it's carpal tunnel, I can so identify...I developed it in both hands (it's supposed to go away after the baby comes) and some days it's very frustrating (not to mention, painful and uncomfortable!). I hope yours feels better!
