Tickled Pink Tuesday

Almost didn't make it!  I have about 45 minutes until Wednesday, lol!  I really, really wanted to show you what's tickling me today.

As you might know, my partner in crime for TPT is Cheryl from Polka Dots & Rick Rack.  And she's the one who tickled me today!  (By the way, she's having a give-away - go see her after you finish here!)

My son came in yesterday and told me I had a package.  Well, I am expecting one, but that wasn't it [and that will be another post] - this was a total surprise.  From Cheryl!  Look how she blessed me.

The card, when you open it, plays a Hawaiian version of Over The Rainbow.  And I was.

Look at the quilting!

One of my most favorite quilt designs ever, that I'll never have the nerve to try.  Isn't this too lovely!  The reason it looks like different colors in the pics is because the sun was going in and out - you should have seen me trying to get pics, I would just get the camera turned on and the sun would hide.  Turn it off, it would come out.  Ack.  Thank you Cheryl, I will treasure it always!

Beautiful sky later in the day, after the SNOW SHOWERS left.

One more thing that's tickling me - my son got a job!  It's a temp position for my sister-in-law, but it's a start and he'll have something to put on his resume!  Thank you Lord!

I hope you're all having a great week - and that you find lots to tickle you!

I love the border fabric. Is it pieced, or is it a printed stripe like that?

What a great birthday surprise and such fantastic news about your son! It's a tough market for anyone out there and esp. young men. Once he gets working, I bet other opportunities will open up for him.
