How Do You Know...

that your Nyquil is working?  When you see a button that says "feedback" and you think it says "feedsack".  I guess that would also mean you're a dedicated quilter.

I'm watching the Chilean miner's rescue on cnn.com.  It's absolutely riveting.  Praise God they're getting them out of there!

I'm watching it, too, Allie. The whole process is amazing. You would think that it would get boring after a while, but each one is exciting.

One thing that I noticed. The Chileans must have some great immune system! Everyone is constantly hugging everyone else!!!

Allie, you made me laugh!!!

Yes, I watched the first rescue on Yahoo news until I went to bed! I'm going to check now and see how many they have out. PRAISE THE NAME OF THE LORD!!! What a miracle. It gives us an idea of what those that have been trapped have gone through and then weren't able to be rescued in the past~

I've been watching all day and crying with the families. Thank God we have a good outcome to something that could have been tragic.

When we went to bed last night they were still doing a test run on the capsule. This morning I just saw the ninth miner brought up. It's amazing they were able to survive down there for so long and just as amazing that they're able to rescue them!

Ha! My eyesight goes without being ill or taking meds.
Number 13 is on his way up. Has anyone thought of cleaning up the outside of the tube so it won't get stuck? Just a thought...

Delores, they have taken it out for maintenance at least once. Several hours ago I saw it lying on the ground and they were greasing the wheels. I'm still amazed every time they bring someone up!

The miner rescue is pretty amazing. They must be overjoyed to finally be rescued. In days of old, the mine would have been sealed up and the miners left to die. Technology has come a long way since then.

Unfortunately, I do not need Nyquil to read incorrectly.

I saw the first rescue and I was amazed.

Not to scoff at your pain, Allie, but that "feedsack" incident is pretty funny. You should probably avoid crossword puzzles for the time being.

And at least you have something truly worthwhile to watch while you recuperate. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Hey Allie, I was just wondering if you saw Peg's version of your bird in the cage. Very cute.

Amazing rescue and so fantastic they are all out!
Can't do the Nyquil thing. Makes me drunk and fall out of the bed. A good friend likes to take it before she does machine quilting. She say's it looses her up so her stitches are pretty. I think I'd rather have a glass of wine. ;)
