Please....

Pray for the folks in San Bruno, California who were caught up in the natural gas main explosion last night.  And if you're in the area, PLEASE donate blood - they need every drop.  For more information, you can go here.  God bless the first responders, they did a heroic job in a devastating situation.

It sounded unbelievable. Every uneventful day is a good one, isn't it? We need to be reminded of that from time to time, although it would be nice if it didn't take something quite so devastating to get our attention. Just a loudspeaker announcement, perhaps?

So upsetting. I never cease to be amazed at the courage of firefighters and as 9 11 approaches I am reminded that their sacrifices can never be repaid.

What an awful thing to happen. Sometimes the world seems to be just one disaster after another. Many Australian households are coping with floods right now and there were devastating bushfires last year. My sympathies to all those affected by tragic events, man-made or natural.

Yes that is so sad. We had a gas line explode in Richmond Indiana when my mother lived there (years ago). An ammo shop was in the 5 city block area that went. My prayers go out to the people in California.

Hello, I am Cathy's (of Sunbonnet Sue Quilts) cousin,Joanne. At her request, I am writing to give you an update on her.... first, her computer finally bit the dust yesterday and her son's (Ryan) home burned down last night in NC. The home is about 75% gone. Cathy, her hubby & their dgtr, Donna, are on their way there now to help Ryan ... they all need a lot of prayer. Thanks, Joanne
